Who I am
Hi, I’m Bianca Pintan – the artist behind each piece you see here. I work from my home studio in Byron Bay, Australia, and I’ve been creating art for over six years. Ceramics was the first medium that found me, and I fell in love with the process instantly. Over time, my practice has expanded to include mixed mediums, but ceramics remain at the heart of what I do.
There’s something deeply meditative about shaping, carving, building, painting, and photographing my ceramic pieces – a flow state that brings me a sense of calm and creative fulfilment. I’m drawn to the nuances that make each piece unique – the subtle details and delicate balance that may not always be obvious but hold the essence of the final work. There’s a moment when a piece feels complete, beyond words, and that’s when I know it’s ready to be shared.
It’s been incredible to see my work attract collectors globally, finding homes across continents and in commercial spaces like Cartier Flagship Australia and W Hotel New York. More than anything, I love the connection – seeing where my pieces end up and how they become part of new stories and environments.
Alongside my creative work, I’m also a mother to two wonderful children – a boy and a girl – who fill my life with inspiration in ways I never expected. Balancing motherhood with my artistic practice has only deepened my connection to the creative process, adding new layers of meaning to the pieces I create.
I’m constantly exploring and creating, following the inspiration that each new project brings. Every piece reflects that passion, and I’m grateful to share it with those who appreciate the art and the journey behind it. Thanks!
