Who I Am
I’m Bianca Pintan—artist, maker, and the hands behind every piece you see here. I work from my home studio in Byron Bay, Australia, where I’ve spent the past six years shaping, carving, painting, and obsessing over the details that make each piece feel just right. Ceramics found me first, and I fell hard. Over time, I’ve expanded into mixed media, but clay remains my first love—the foundation of everything I create.
There’s a rhythm to this work, a kind of moving meditation. The shaping, the carving, the painting—every step is part of a flow that pulls me in completely. I chase those subtle moments, the tiny nuances that bring a piece to life in a way that’s hard to explain but impossible to ignore. There’s always a point when I just know—this piece is done, ready to go out into the world and find its place.
And somehow, that place has stretched across continents. My work has made its way into private collections and commercial spaces—Cartier, W Hotel to mention a couple. Seeing my pieces land in new environments, becoming part of different stories, is something I’ll never take for granted.
Beyond the studio, I’m also a mother to two wild, wonderful little humans who bring inspiration in ways I never saw coming. Balancing art and motherhood has only sharpened my creative instincts—adding depth, urgency, and a whole new appreciation for the process.
I’m always exploring, always creating—following whatever inspiration comes next. Every piece holds that passion, and I love sharing it with those who feel the pull.
